I just got my first roll shot with a Contax T3 plus Kodak Porta 160 film back – and I love the results. This was my favorite coffee place in Japan – right at the Daikanyama subway station.

Got the first photos from my Japan trip back – will take some time to sort through all of them. But this is already an early favorite… Taken with my Yashica T5 and Fuji Neopan 1600 black and white film in Kagoshima.
Four more days. Can’t hardly wait.
Rear Window Timelapse
I dissected all of Hitchcock’s Rear Window and stiched it back together in After Effects. I stabilized all the shots with camera movement in them. Since everything was filmed from pretty much the same angle I was able to match them into a single panoramic view of the entire backyard without any greater distortions. The order of events stays true to the movie’s plot. Great project by Jeff Desom.
